Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept commissions?
Yes. I am currently accepting commissions for the following subjects; houses/buildings, pets, and vehicles. But what about people portraits?? I occasionally accept commissions for portraits, though I would never claim to be very experienced in portraiture. Contact me with special project proposals.
Do you teach classes?
Yes! For folks that are local to the Salt Lake City area, I teach sketching/watercolor classes at the University of Utah and at local studios/galleries. I am currently working on offering online classes and I’m hoping to launch my first online class later this year. The best way to get more info on classes is to sign up for my email newsletter (at the bottom of this page).
How will my purchase ship?
I will carefully pack your purchase flat (original pieces) or rolled (prints). I guarantee it will arrive safe and sound. At this time, I can’t guarantee a specific arrival date, but your purchase will typically leave my hands in less than 5 business days. If you have a specific deadline, please feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to work with you to get you what you need.
What do you like about drawing and painting?
Not sure how to explain it exactly. I like that it is difficult for me. If you caught fish every time you went fishing, it wouldn’t be as fun. I like how people react to it. I like that you can make a painting that looks exactly like your subject without it looking anything like your subject at all.
I’ve been drawing and painting since I was a kid. Can’t stop.
